French Fold - Orchard

Brought my wife for a birthday treat. Ordered a mixed platter of cheese and a sausage galette. Food and wine was great. We were surprised with a birthday crepe at the end of our meal. Staff working at the orchard outlet on 25/11/25 1430 to 1600hrs while we were there were amazing.

My first visit here and I was immediately struck by how comfortable, cosy, and welcoming the place felt. The staff were warm and friendly, which made the experience even better. I had the galette and it was delicious, made with buckwheat flour, free-range eggs, with fresh ingredients that blended beautifully together. Simple, wholesome flavours done really well. Definitely a place I’d love to return to.

We loved how each dish had its own little touch, and the variety was just right without feeling overwhelming. The staff were so warm and attentive, they made sure we always had what we needed and started our morning with a smile. It honestly felt like beginning the day with a little treat. We would happily come back just for the breakfast alone.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation, but we didn't have to wait long (less than 15 minutes) to get the seats at the non-air-conditioned area. When we sat down, they told us to order from a QR code, but when we scanned it, it showed a bill. We tried very hard to get the waiter's attention and finally he came over and said he would resolve the issue. Afterwards he told us to scan the QR code again but the previous bill was still there. Finally, we ordered from the staff. Throughout the lunch, the wait staff were not attentive and it was difficult to get their attention. Other than the service, the food was surprising good. We ordered their signature crepe-like food, which was crispy and savoury. They also have dessert crepes. The ambiance was nice too. Despite being a hot day, the al fresco area was cool with the ceiling fan.

Orchard the duck confit french fold. Didnt really like it as it was too oily for my liking, ended eating less than half of it. Overall atmosphere and vibes were good nonetheless

Great place to have crepes or galettes in town, and alternative place for brunch with reasonable decent price. Our usuals are no. 4 and no. 12, and service here has been amazing, very friendly staff that always checks in if you need anything. Great vibes but furnitures definitely need a change - the outdoor sofas are quite dirty. wheelchair entrance accessible, but slightly cramped to move around the cafe.
